A Cold Weather Champion

The ANF Region of PA is where you go to find snow!

The Allegheny National Forest Region in McKean County, Pennsylvania is where you go to find snow. With Pennsylvania’s state record of the most annual snowfall and the coldest temperatures, McKean County is a cold weather champion. Located just 30 minutes south of Ellicottville, NY and 90 minutes from Buffalo or Erie, we invite you to visit. During winter, every day is a snow day!

WINTER IS MORE FUN AT THE LODGE

The sparkle in your eyes will match the sparkle of the crisp white snowflakes as you enjoy a variety of activities in the Forest - choose from cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, a winter ATV ride, or a variety of hunting and ice-fishing opportunities.

For those wanting to do it all, the Lodge at Glendorn is northwest Pennsylvania’s only 5-star resort. In the winter, you will think you have stepped into a snow globe as you experience the enchantment of the Lodge at Glendorn. Participate in cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, Mat-Track Jeep Tours, and curling and ice skating on Skipper Lake. For overnight guests, guided snowmobile tours (with all equipment provided) are offered. Knowledgeable guides make it easy and fun to try something new. Their ORVIS endorsed guides can outfit you for bird hunting, skeet shooting, and all types of fishing - including ice-fishing.

After a day outdoors, enjoy returning to the “Big-House,” a grand Adirondack style redwood lodge.  Or if you are seeking privacy, reserve one of the beautifully appointed cabins. All guests at the Lodge enjoy meals crafted by their award-wining culinary team. The Lodge at Glendorn is located at 1000 Glendorn Drive, Bradford, PA 16701.  Reservations: 814-362-6511 or www.glendorn.com.
