With 9 X-Games Gold Medals, 9 United States Snocross Championships and two FIM Snowcross World Championships under his belt, Tucker Hibbert will be looking to add to his heavily decorated trophy case when he returns to Salamanca in February. SNOWED-IN had the opportunity to catch up with Hibbert briefly, who expressed a great deal of admiration for the region, and specifically the fans in Salamanca.

With December upon us, that means snow can happen at any time! We are at the top of the list for counties who receive the maximum snowfall in NY State. It's no wonder we know how to have fun in the snow! How does cascading over the snow on a trail-dominating snowmobile sound? Or exploring the back woods, breaking your own trails on your snowshoes? The unmistakable voice of Gary Puckett, formerly of Gary Puckett and The Union Gap, will fill the air at The Bears Den at the Seneca Niagara Casino on Friday, Jan. 8 at 8pm. Talking with him recently about his career, it led him to recall some of the memories that stand out vividly in his mind. Puckett, who considers himself a political junkie, went on to tell me about the day he spoke to President Nixon one-on-one on the White House lawn.
