Thoughts of Spring fill the air as we shake off the grey days of winter and look forward to the sounds of the returning song birds, the bloom of wildflowers, updating our home décor, and getting outside to hike and bike the mountain trails of the Allegheny National Forest Region in northwestern Pennsylvania.

Cattaraugus County is otherwise known as the Enchanted Mountains, for its vast countryside, serene landscapes, and picturesque hills and valleys.  While many nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts call this corner of WNY home, we also boast diverse artistic talents, fine theatrical performances, and a rich history all-around.  If you are growing tired of being out in the cold, but do not want to feel trapped indoors, consider attending one of our scheduled events, or enjoy a full day of perusing a museum or gallery.
Country singer-songwriter, Gary Allan, will be making a stop at the Seneca Allegany Casino Events Center in Salamanca, NY on March 29 with a sense of complete renewal. For Allan, the past 17 years of his career has led him to what he feels is his most personal and evolved work yet with his latest album titled, “Set You Free.”

If you’re a fan of classic rock music, then you’re a fan of Grand Funk Railroad.  The five-piece band that made it big in the 1970’s is a staple on any classic rock radio station you listen to.  I had the chance to catch up with original member and singer/drummer, Don Brewer, from his home in Florida on a very snowy day here in Western New York.

The more snow the more fun! As the Weather Channel says, “McKean County, Pennsylvania is where you go when you want to find snow. It is a national cold-weather champion.” In northwestern Pennsylvania, McKean County holds the state record for the most amount of snowfall per year. Local folks invite you to enjoy ice-skating, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling as you experience the natural beauty of winter in the Allegheny National Forest Region.

Now that the hustle and bustle of the holidays has passed, let us help you find some snow-filled joy with our trails for

The title of 50’s and 60’s rockers Sha-Na-Na’s first album, released in 1969, was a premonition of sorts that “Rock and Roll Is Here To Stay.” Well into their fourth decade of recording and performing around the world, these “greasers” have built a bridge that connects three generations of families to good old rock and roll music.  Starting Wednesday, Dec. 4, Sha Na Na will be bringing their Rockin’ Christmas Show to Seneca Allegany Casino’s Events Center in Salamanca, NY for five shows, including matinee and evening shows.

From the thrill of 2,000 of the latest slot machines and 33 action-packed table games, to the delicious tastes of seven restaurants, to the luxury of an award-winning hotel, and the energy of world-class entertainment - a trip to Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel is truly “Excitement Worth Sharing!”
